A clean and cosy grade II listed cottage

A charming period holiday cottage, full of charm and uniquely located in the centre of the market town of Bakewell. This newly refurbished cottage is only a few minutes level walk into the town centre yet close to the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park. A former mill workers cottage, Heather cottage is an ideal centre to explore the Monsal trail, Chatsworth house and Haddon Hall and much more all within close proximity to the cottage.

For the energetic guests there is so much to see and do during your stay, walking, cycling, mountaineering and much more, all within the beautiful National Park. Bakewell visitor centre is only minutes from the cottage and provides a comprehensive information service for the National Park, offering advice on local events, public transport and how to make the most of your visit, local maps are also available.

After a busy day exploring the many sights and attractions that the Peak District has to offer, why not leave the car and walk into Bakewell and sample one of the high class cafes, pubs and restaurants, only five minutes from the cottage.

For those looking for a relaxed holiday Heather cottage is ideal, as it offers the perfect place to sit back, chill out and have a well earned rest. Perhaps close the shutters, put on some music, pour a glass a wine and watch the glow of the fire from the 1830's range.

We consider the cottage is not suitable for children under 5 years due to the staircase however if you have a young family, please contact us.
